If not removed from the refrigerator in advance, SNAP T4 and Cortisol devices require 10 minutes to warm up and SNAP Bile Acids devices require 30 minutes to warm up. Devices can be removed from refrigeration up to 5 eight-hour cycle times.

In-house results for T4, cortisol and bile acids—when you need them

 

Run a SNAP® test in 7 easy steps:

 

1.
Pipette the sample.
2.
Add the conjugate.
3.
Mix the sample and conjugate 3 or 4 times.

 

4.
Incubate the sample for 5 minutes.*
5.
Pour the sample into the SNAP® device.
6.
When color first appears in the activation circle, press firmly to activate. You will hear a distinct “snap.”

 

7.
Insert the SNAP device into the reader.
